Travelling Light Shortlisted for Best Light Art Award

Our 2016 Bournemouth Arts by the Sea commission Travelling Light has been shortlisted for Best Light Art at the darc Architectural Awards from mondo*arc and darc magazine. Light artists and independent lighting designers can vote here and earn a ticket to the ‘darc night’ awards ceremony and party held in East London on September 14th.

Ithaca Audio win Music+Sound Award

We won a 2017 Music+Sound Award for ‘Best Re-Record or Adaptation – Online, Viral, Ambient Advertising’ for A Song to Star Trek. This remix of Minnie Riperton’s ‘Lovin’ You’ was created using purely sound effects and dialog from Star Trek, as part of the SyfyUK Star Trek 50th Anniversary celebrations.

The Storm long-listed for Lumen Prize.

The Lumen Prize celebrates the very best art created digitally, through an annual competition, a global tour and associated activities including workshops, seminars and special events. Our immersive audio-visual installation The Storm was selected for the 3D / Sculpture category and The Placemaking Special Commendation Award.

Two Music+Sound Awards Nominations for Ithaca Audio.

ITHACA Audio have been nominated for two 2017 Music+Sound Awards: Best Sound Design in Radio Advertising (BMW) and Best Re-Record / Adaptation in Online, Viral and Ambient Advertising (Song to Star Trek / Syfy TV). The Music+Sound Awards are the global awards programme for music and sound design in advertising, film and television.

Talking to the Trees at Henley Festival

We’re bringing the Whispering Trees to the beautiful setting of Henley from 5th – 9th July. Whispering Trees is a fun, interactive installation that allows festival goers to create their very own light show – by talking to the trees. Henley Festival is a boutique event set on the Thames, celebrating the best UK & international music, art and comedy.
