This week we decided to create the soundscape using only one piece of software. After taking a look through the minefield of plugins at Ithaca Audio we decided on Native Instruments Absynth. It’s an extremely powerful and versatile synth capable of creating some incredible sounds.
The piece was created with 7 instances of Absynth layered together.

Ithaca Audio was asked to compose a sonic logo for the global asset management company Schroders. The audio makes use of very organic instrumentation and composition techniques to give a natural yet modern feel to the visuals.
Ithaca Audio was recently asked by Tanglewood Productions to provide the audio for their client Fittleworth Medical Limited’s new corporate video. The focus was on emphasising the clean feel of the visuals with a spacious composition and mix.
Ithaca Audio was recently asked to compose and produce the music for a new spot for the Jenny Craig company. The aim was to reflect the friendly vibe of the advert in the music by producing a piece that was upbeat, organic, modern but not too intrusive.
This film is a great example of both the sound design and composition work undertaken by Ithaca Audio. This film features a stripped down composition in a contemporary style. The simple instrumentation, composition and close microphone placement give the scene an intimate and innocent feel.
